Choose a password that will be hard for someone else to guess or automatically generate. When creating your password, follow these simple tips:
Use a combination of at least 6 mixed-case letters, numbers, and special characters (example: MyDog$parky's#1). Using 14 or more characters with mixed-case words without spaces, two or more numerals, and two or more special characters is ideal.
Don't use personal info such as your name, phone number, or birth date.
Don't use single words found in a dictionary (example: catamaran).
Don't use common passwords like ABCDEF or 123456.
Don't use the same password for other online accounts.
A password strength checker is provided as a courtesy. IDP passwords can be 6 to 30 characters in length. It's up to you to decide how difficult you want to make it for a malicious user to guess your password.
