The American Institute of Architecture's Los Angeles chapter recently announced the winners of its 4th annual Restaurant Design Awards, in the categories of best restaurant, café/bar, lounge/nightclub and People's Choice.
The Los Angeles branch of the AIA has recognized the importance of atmosphere and environment in restaurants’ overall success. Projects/entries are judged on the merits of design – specifically function, ambiance and visual impact of the restaurant, café or lounge.
The 2009 Awards Ceremony will be held in conjunction with the Dwell on Design Conference on Friday, June 26, 2009 at Mobius LA at the LA Convention Center. The 2009 submission deadline is April 3, 2009. Visit the
